Behind the Glitter: Our Pop-Up Adventures

There's something magical about a pop-up event. It’s more than just a place to sell products—it's a chance to connect, to share, and to be surrounded by people who have a passion just like mine. I love the peaceful part of setting up my table, meticulously placing every item just right with its label, and soaking in the inviting atmosphere of being around other hard-working creators.
Over the past few months, I've had my share of adventures some successful more not. I’ve done some amazing events where I got to network and meet so many wonderful people, and I’ve had others that were so busy I barely had a chance to move from my table! Which were perfect for growing my small business. I’ve had events I didn’t sell an item at all which was devastating and discouraging but I kept pushing and smiled. It's all part of the journey. Those moments gave me the opportunity to expect and change some things. Like learning every event isn’t for Popnballs. I’ve learned that the key to a successful event is to make sure it’s the right fit for my products, and to always have an indoor space to protect my sweets from the heat. That was a lesson I learned the hard way when my candy jars melted and became one big clump! A waste of ingredients right! No, it was a learning experience that i took advantage of!
But even with the challenges, the wins are what make it all worth it. 💰💪🏽 My most popular products are almost always my candy sticks, my cookies, and now my different popcorn flavors. I love watching people’s reactions when they try a popcorn sample—it gives me such a sense of joy and relief! 😍 And I'm happy to report that I always sell out of my gummy candy jars. I think the guys love them the most because I have so much glitter and sparkle at my booth, and they're relieved to find a treat that's for them not all sparkly!😂🤣
My favorite part of all is getting to interact with people who enjoy our products. It’s a wonderful reminder of why I do what I do. And while I still hate the time-consuming and frustrating part of packing up what didn't sell, it's a small price to pay for the joy of those interactions.
